In a city where there is a growing inclination towards minimalist design, KOA is launching a new residential project that will be situated near Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens. The company has announced that they will be offering distinctive penthouse apartments, which are now available for purchase within KOA Canvas. Canvas is KOA’s first venture that showcases the company’s principles in terms of design, finish, and facilities. The estate is comfortably located 20 minutes away from the city, providing residents with peace and quietude away from the rambunctious life of the metropolis. With facilities that are centered on each resident’s requirements, CEO and founder of KOA Mohammad Zaal states, “I want to give them something they would design for themselves if they had the opportunity.” The limited penthouse apartments, set to be complete in June 2018, will highlight KOA as Dubai’s focal centre for entrepreneurs, and creative and young professionals.
The 70 apartments include seven floors devoted to apartment-style living. Canvas will be providing studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments, and will also aid their residents with several options for layout. Among the various facilities is a gourmet market, daycare centre, fitness studios, a pool, water features, landscaped gardens, barbecue areas, and art displays around the grounds. In addition, the apartments’ spacious area allow Dubai’s discerning clientele to develop fresh and innovative design.“We’ve taken our time and refined every element of these homes to provide something truly unique and special to the market,” adds Bin Zaal. “We’re very proud of what we have created with the Penthouses."
With only five penthouse apartments under way, each unit has been dexterously curated by award-winning architect firm TZED Architects. Each residence consists of a minimalistic aesthetic with finishes in stone, timber and metal that are combined with stunning views of the Dubai skyline.
Features include sleek resin flooring, decadent floor-to-ceiling windows with Juliette balconies and treated concrete walls. Unlike the first phase of apartments and duplex units available, these extraordinary penthouses include open-air courtyards with contemporary spiral staircases that lead to the tranquil private roof terraces, which offer an outdoor setting unlike any other on the market. KOA also intends to preserve the ecological balance and sustainability of the local area through landscaping influenced by the region’s indigenous plant species.
